Hi, my name is Israel. I am a partner at the law firm of Welts, White & Fontaine, PC. I started NewEnglandTreeLaw.com in 2024 to share information about tree law and timber trespass cases in New England. Tree-related disputes are as common as ever, but substantive information about the law of trees remains hard to find online.
My practice focuses on all kinds of litigation. I have successfully handled dozens of timber trespass cases resulting in over one million dollars recovered for my clients.
I received my B.A. from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and my J.D. from Boston College in Newton, Massachusetts. I presently live in my home state of New Hampshire.
